The Family Group Conference Service
We provide Family Group Conferences (FGC) for families referred by Luton Borough Council.
If you would like an FGC please contact your allocated Children's social care worker who can make the referral for your family.

How long does it take?
We aim to complete the FGC process within 6 weeks of an initial referral but ultimately we are led by the needs of the family.
Families can request that an FGC's take place in person or online on TEAMS
All our FGC coordinators are experienced and trained to the approved standards of the Family Rights Group

Information for Referrers
Referrals for an FGC can only be made by a Luton Social Care Worker

Upon submission, you will receive confirmation of receipt by email. If you do not receive this please contact us to confirm we have received the referral.
Once allocated you will receive a secure email with the name, email and telephone number of the allocated worker along with a copy of the original referral for your records.
